How this kid built an AI making $19K/Month in SaaS

Let's break it down!

Hey, hey - it’s another SaaS Breakdown!

This one’s about this guy:

Jack Friks.

If you’re active on X, you’ve probably seen him around.

Anyway, he actually did something really cool with AI.

Let’s break it down!

PS: if you prefer watching this breakdown, do so here:

1️⃣ The Product

This is his product: Post Bridge.

A social media scheduling tool.

I hear your thinking…

“ANOTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SCHEDULING TOOL??!?!!”

Yes.

And he’s making almost $20k with it.

But..

“HOW WHY WHO?!”

Here’s how (in his own words):

“Post bridge is a social media scheduling tool I originally made just for myself to use to help me scale my mobile apps marketing. Then I realized that 1000s of other founders need it too, and at a fair price per channel since all other alternatives were crazy expensive.”

Exactly how to think like a founder!

He spotted a crowded market with dominant companies, but all of them were crazy expensive.

So, he launched a product and competed on price.

Not everyone’s a fan, but the truth is: this will always work!

Everyone wants to “save” money.

But how did he get customers?

2️⃣ The strategies!

There were 3 key strategies.

  1. Validation in Public

So one of the really smart things Jack did was testing some elements of the app, like its UI, before fully developing the product. And this is a smart move because this lean approach basically minimizes risk and ensures there's actual demand.

  1. Short-form content

He creates content for people wanting to go viral on social media. And in order to post and distribute content across multiple social media channels, you need a tool like post bridge, so this will also get him some new eyeballs and potentially even new customers.

  1. Building in Public

And the third one is the whole “building in public” in general. This says it all:

3️⃣ The Playbook (copy this!)

So, Jack did a really smart job here.

The exact playbook:

✅ Focus on a small core audience
✅ Build a “good enough” tool that does 1 or 2 things really well
✅ Innovate with cheaper/better pricing
✅ Build in Public to get traction

That’s it for today’s breakdown!
